Spintracker service

Spintracker service is based on the “plug & produce” concept, which means that our customers will receive the solar tracking equipment installed and ready to produce.

RD 1578/2008: A new framework

The new conditions imposed by RD 1578/2008 require price reductions of between 25 and 30%. With Spintracker service, this is possible.

Spintracker service: One supplier. A complete product. A fair price.

What the service includes:

SP TRACKER:
Generalia helps with choosing the tracker that best suits each case. This includes the structure and the movement control system.

TRANSPORT:
Generalia organises and is responsible for the transport of the trackers until they reach their destination.

ASSEMBLY:
Generalia is in charge of the on-site assembly of the components that make up the tracker.

CONCRETING:
Generalia coordinates and carries out the concreting of the foundations of their trackers; the concrete is included in the price. The client will have already taken care of the excavation (if not, it can also be included in the service).

PANEL ASSEMBLY:
Generalia will assemble the panels supplied by the client on the tracker. This offers many advantages since the company has the fastenings for all types of panels readily available.

START-UP:
Generalia carries out the hoisting and final assembly of the tracker by its own means. Commissioning is the last step of the process.

The customer only has to connect its cables to the tracker and energy production will begin.

Additional Services

The “Plug & Produce” service also includes:

  • A study of the implementation and optimisation of trackers on the client's land based on the geography and topography of the area.
  • A shadow study, in order to minimise losses as well as to optimise the amount of solar radiation captured.

For deliveries of more than 50 units of SP-100, a mechanical resistance study of the land is included in the service.

For deliveries of more than 100 units of SP-100, a geotechnical study alerting us of concrete in aggressive ground conditions is included in the service.

The supply of the panels and their connection are the client's responsibility, except when stated otherwise. The positioning of the panels on the tracker is included in the service. Although the start-up of the photovoltaic generator is not included, the service may be extended to include it.

The warranty period of the equipment is 5 years. The conditions of the warranty are set out in the contractual agreement.
